Open Access Policy
IJMIE is a fully open-access journal. All articles are freely and permanently available to read, download, copy, distribute, and reuse immediately upon publication, with proper attribution to the original authors and source.
Immediate & Full Open Access
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There is no embargo period and no subscription or pay-per-view barrier for readers.
Definition
Our open-access policy is aligned with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), meaning that users are permitted to "read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts" of articles, subject only to correct attribution.
Licensing
All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain copyright of their work. Full details are provided on our Copyright & Licensing page.
Author Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit all versions of their article (submitted, accepted, and published) in institutional or subject repositories and on personal or scholarly networking sites, with no embargo, provided the published version is linked via its DOI.
Reader Rights
- Free, immediate, and permanent online access to the full text of every article.
- The right to reuse, share, and build upon the work under the terms of CC BY 4.0.
- No registration required to read or download content.
Funding the Journal
To sustain open access without charging readers, the journal levies an Article Processing Charge (APC) on accepted articles; waivers are available. See Article Processing Charges.
Preservation
Open-access content is digitally preserved to guarantee long-term availability; see our Archiving & Digital Preservation policy.
